Well, today we got our first, very small, import of wines - 9 new wines exclusive to The Wine Library. We have one from France and 8 from South Africa.

From the Coteaux du Layon in the Loire we have the 1996 vintage of Moulin Touchais, at 52.00/49.92/48.10. This is a stunning example of one of France's great vinous treasures and we will be adding to our collection over the months.

From South Africa we have 4 wines from The Foundry, which is Chris William's own winery. Two are white: a Grenache Blanc and a Roussanne, both 22.75/21.84/21.04; and two reds: a Grenache Noir and a Syrah both 25.75/24.72/23.82. Then from Mark Solms, South Africa's pre-eminent neuroscientist we have a white, Amalie 26.90/25.82/24.88, and a red Hiervandaan 23.90/22.94/22.11. Finally, from De Krans in Calitzdorp we have a super Touriga Nacional 20.75/19.92/19.19 and the wonderful Tritonia 26.75/25.68/24.74. Why not pop in to try? Of course, we also deliver nationwide so if you want you can email us direcetly.

We've had some good press over the last few months. You can read a pdf file of Martin Moran MW's Sunday Times review, as well as a review from The Taste and also from Dún Laoghaire BID.
